Good Morning, this is your Superintendent Heidie Ciesielski calling to let you know that due to the winter weather advisory and snow/rain mix, we are expecting we are going to cancel school for today Friday, March 22, 2024. Mother Nature wanted you all to start your Spring Break a day early. Whatever way you are spending today and next week during Spring Break, I hope you all get to spend time laughing with family and friends. Good Afternoon WeAreFenton Family this is Superintendent Heidie Ciesielski with an update on afterschool and evening activities. We are going to let all of our meetings and events take place this evening. This includes all athletic competitions as well as our Mott EMC meeting. Best of luck to all of our winter athletes, and please be cautious when traveling and take it slow - have a wonderful evening.

Good Morning WeAreFenton Family this is Superintendent Heidie Ciesielski calling again to let you know that we will be canceling school today Wednesday, January 24, 2024, due to the icy road conditions. Unfortunately, many of our back and secondary roads are still very icy with the recent storm. We will have a decision regarding after-school and evening activities later today based on the most up-to-minute information. Please stay safe.

Good Afternoon WeAreFenton Families please be aware that all afterschool and evening activities are canceled for this evening. With the temperatures hovering right around freezing and with more precipitation coming in, we don't want to chance it concerning teen drivers for events. Be safe and have a great day!

We will have a decision regarding after-school and evening activities later today based on reports from the road commissions in our district and the most current constraints. Please stay safe and enjoy the day.

Good Morning- Fenton Area Public Schools is going to run all afternoon and evening activities as planned except for the Board of Education Coffee Talk which has been rescheduled. Students, please check in with your coach or advisor to ensure practice times. We wish our ski team, our girls' basketball as well as our boys' freshman and JV teams good luck in their events this evening. Lastly, we apologize for the number of calls that you eventually received last night for our school closing, technology is great until it isn't. Because we have students who walk to school, walk to bus stops, and wait for extended periods we are canceling to ensure student safety. Check out FHS hockey player, Fenton sophomore Mason Wright's winning goal 12/13 when the Griffins & Milford were tied at four goals each and had to go into overtime. Minutes into the extra period, Mason scored the game-winning goal giving the Griffins their first win of the season. "It's pretty cool," Wright said after the game. "It's pretty special. A lot of guys don't get to do. I couldn't have done it without my teammates." Congratulations to Chris Powowarczyk, senior standout athlete who has been named 1st Team All-State in football by the Detroit Free Press. Piwowarczyk, a versatile two-way player for the Fenton Tigers, was recognized 1st Team All-State as a defensive lineman. The three-sport athlete has not only excelled on the gridiron but has also showcased his skills on the basketball court and track. Beyond his achievements in athletics, Piwowarczyk maintains a 4.2 GPA, demonstrating his commitment to both athletic and academic excellence. Piwowarczyk plans to continue his academic and athletic career in college.

Operation Polar Express - Mr. Bakker is ready to deliver the morning treats to bus drivers and transportation aides during the Week of December 11 - 15. Each FAPS building is taking one day to spread holiday joy and appreciation to our Transportation Personnel!
