Attention, Fenton Families:
FEMA and the FCC have scheduled a Nationwide Emergency Alert TEST for this Wednesday, Oct. 4 at approximately 2:20pm which will go out to all Cell Phones, TVs, and Radios. The purpose of the Oct. 4 test is to ensure that the government systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level.

Huge shoutout to the Fenton Marching Tigers for a couple of great days last week! Friday night they formed a ribbon to honor Makenzie Lawson and her month-long commitment to raising cancer awareness. Saturday, FMT took 2nd place at the MSBOA Festival in Troy! Great work FMT!

Senior Parents:
Don't forget to attend the upcoming Financial Aid Night on Monday 9/25/23) in the Lecture Room to hear about the latest changes to the Financial Aid form (aka FAFSA) and how that impacts paying for college.
A 2004 law signed by President George W. Bush established September 17 as Constitution Day (previously known as Citizenship Day). The law requires government employees and schools that receive federal funds to devote time on this day to learning about this 233-year-old document. An older law, established in 1956, sets aside September 17–23 as Constitution Week. Celebrate the freedoms this document grants us in September and all year long!
During Tuesday's SRT, Fenton High School students FHS observed Constitution Day by watching a short video on the Bill of Rights. They were then challenged to pick one of the Amendments and create a poster for the hallway.
Congratulations to FHS Students; Lily Turkowski, Miah Smith, and Olivia Hernandez! These 3 were honored by the College Board with the National Hispanic Recognition Award for their achievements on the PSAT/NMSQT. We're so proud of each of you!

FHS, get ready for School Picture Day!!! (Take 2)
Class of 2023 - Share your photos with the Tri-County Times!
This summer visit North Rd Elementary for FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL kids 18 and under.
The program starts tomorrow, June 12th, and runs through August 2nd. We are closed on Fridays and the week of July 3rd.
Breakfast is from 8:30-9:30 am and lunch is from 11:00 - 1:00 pm.

On May 25th, we will honor the Class of 2023 during their Graduation ceremony that will take place at our stadium on Ivan Williams Field. Tickets are not necessary, as seating is first come, first serve. Graduation starts at 6:30 pm and should last about 90 minutes. The gates will open at 5:30 pm.
If you are unable to attend, you can still watch the event. Please see the information below from our Video Productions teacher, Mr. Smith on how to live stream or watch on demand after the event.
