Attendance Plan Review Time: Students placed on an Attendance Plan last May/June had credit put "on hold" for 10 weeks. He/she should schedule an Attendance Review Meeting with FHS Administration, IF he/she met the following conditions: No unexcused absences for 1st marking period of 2023-24 (8/22 to 10/27). No more than 3 tardies total for all class combined. Attendance is viewable on Parent & Student Vue, so you can see if conditions have been met. Note: Students who DID not meet the Attendance Plan conditions should meet with his/her counselor to determine the impact on being on track for graduation.

Last week students from the FHS Foundation of Youth Development class joined approximately 200 students from around Genesee County to learn more about attending college and becoming teachers! Thank you U of M Flint for hosting and Mrs. Hazlett and Mrs. Grady for chaperoning.

FHS Senior Photos due Monday, October 30th - see the website for portrait specifications. 1. Information about portrait requirements and the link for submission can be found at this link. Link: https://thefentonian.weebly.com/2024-seniors.html 2. Portraits received after 10/30 will incur a $25 late fee, imposed through the obligations process. 3. No portraits will be accepted after 12/1. 4. If you don't submit a portrait or if you don't follow our requirements, your picture taken by HSP Imaging for your student ID will be used in the yearbook (this will be done automatically; you don't need to do anything else) 5. If you don't submit a portrait AND didn't have an ID picture taken, you will be listed as "Not Pictured" in the yearbook.

FHS Winter Sports Is Coming - Tryouts dates are: 1. October 30: Gymnastics & Ice Hockey 2. November 6: Competitive Cheer 3. November 13: Bowling, Boys' Basketball, Skiing & Wrestling 4. November 20: Girls' Basketball, Boys' Swim & Dive To tryout, you must have a physical dated after 4/15/23 and register at: https://fenton-mi.finalforms.com. Pay to Participate fee is $230 unless you qualify for free & reduced lunch.

Congratulations to the @fentonbands Marching Tigers on an excellent performance at the MSBOA District 3 Festival last night! It was cold and rainy, but the Tigers scored all ones for their performance. Keep up the great work!

Fenton Cross Country Team travels to Homecoming opponent, Flushing High School, to run the game ball back to Fenton in time for tonight's Homecoming game at 7:00 p.m.
