Congratulations to FHS Band Teacher, Mr. Conaton, who was nominated by former FHS student, Avery LaClear, for the Oakland University Honors College Teacher Excellence Award.

This morning Fenton Robotics, the "Titanium Tigers" wakes up w/ a 3-0 record after day 1 of the state championships. They are currently ranked 7th in their division out of 40 teams. Great day & amazing weather for a spectacular cause. Over 147,000 dollars raised that will stay within Genesee County to support Area 13 Special Olympics. Captain Tyrrell did a wonderful job leading the team at today's polar plunge. Thanks for all the support!

Congratulations to Audrey Flynn on receiving “The Society of Women Engineers” award from Michigan Technological University. This award recognizes female students who have excelled in the areas of Math, Science, and are interested in pursuing a degree in Engineering.

Congrats to Senior, Ja'Hion Bond who's had an amazing few days! Last week he was honored as the FHS D.A.R. Good Citizen of the Year. A couple of days later he scored his 1,000 career point as a Varsity Basketball Player! Keep doing great things on and off the court!

Due to dangerously low wind chill temps, FAPS is closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, 2024. A decision about afterschool activities will be made tomorrow when more information on the windchill temperatures and the current warnings will expire.

The FHS Dance Team had an opportunity to perform last night at the Pistons game. Congrats ladies!

Good Morning FHS! It never fails, Winter arrives every year during exams. With school closed (1/10). Thursday, January 11th will be a half day of school with exams for hours 5 & 6. An updated schedule with the rest of your exam information will be sent out later today.

Parents of Class of 2024/Seniors: Deadline for Cap & Gown Order - WAS December 31st. If you haven't ordered the FHS custom gown, you need to do so ASAP at www.jostens.com so you/your child has one in May.

Check out FHS hockey player, Fenton sophomore Mason Wright's winning goal 12/13 when the Griffins & Milford were tied at four goals each and had to go into overtime. Minutes into the extra period, Mason scored the game-winning goal giving the Griffins their first win of the season. "It's pretty cool," Wright said after the game. "It's pretty special. A lot of guys don't get to do. I couldn't have done it without my teammates."
