The Leadership Council is a group that ANY student is welcome to join @ AGS, & there is no cost involved. This is sponsored by the AGS School Counselors, & promotes positive school leadership. There is no GPA requirement, but we do expect our Leadership Council students to make positive behavior choices, work hard in school & try their best, & to support & promote a positive school environment by their actions & words. We meet on a monthly basis during the lunch hour, in addition to occasional projects which may take place during SRT class time (i.e., no before/after school or during class time meetings). There will be information posted for students & parents when school starts about signing up & joining this group. Students are welcome to join the Leadership Council anytime throughout the year, including students who transfer after the beginning of the school year. We are inclusive & appreciate our students' ongoing, positive support & leadership, making AGS Middle School THE place to be!
