Welcome to the AGS PTO page. All parents and staff members of AGS are members of the AGS PTO. We have no dues.

Our PTO meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Occasionally we adjust that schedule due to the school calendar. Those dates are posted below.

What we do:
Some of the things our PTO provide are:

  • Assemblies

  • Teacher supplies

  • 8th grade Graduation Dance

  • Books for the library

  • MEAP snacks

  • 6th Grade Track Meet

  • Scholarships for field trips

  • Design and sell the yearbook

We earn the funds to provide these things primarily through our annual fall fundraiser, but we also participate in Market Day sales, host a book fair, run concessions at AGS, sell spirit wear, run a school store, lunch room pickle sales, and conference bake sales.

Many people think their involvement is not necessary at the middle school level. We believe that is not true, however, the type of involvement has changed. Many of the things our PTO does are behind the scenes, supporting the activities at AGS.
