Four FHS students standing in front of a van full of donations they are taking to Carriage Town Ministries.

Earlier this month, Fenton High Schoolโ€™s Work Experience class headed to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint with a missionโ€”and a van packed with clothing, blankets, and toys!

Our students saw firsthand how a simple donation can change a day for someone in need. But more importantly, they felt the power of giving back.

"They were so grateful... we are happy we could help and make more donations in the future." โ€” Joslyn

"I liked the feeling that I was doing good for someone else. I felt a lot of pride in my work." โ€” LeeAnn

This is just the beginning! Our students are now planning monthly give-back projects. Next up: A February "Sock Drive" (stuffed with hygiene essentials!) and volunteering at a soup kitchen in March.

๐Ÿพ Stay tuned to see how these Tigers are changing the world... and how you can help!!! ๐Ÿงก ๐Ÿ–ค
